Statistics New Zealand (Statistics NZ) wants to empower New Zealanders by making it easy for them to use trusted data to make informed choices. The goal is to significantly increase the value that businesses and people get from data and new innovative ways to achieving this.

Statistics NZ are seeking information from suppliers on potential solutions for a Statistical Location Management Solution which includes the following high level requirements:
• Automated and manual address matching;
• Manual geocoding via maps/imagery;
• Query functionality;
• Data storage;
• Data management and data linking.

It will also help up us to confirm that high level requirements can realistically be met, and further define and refine our requirements. We may also use it to inform our business and procurement planning, and potentially, the preparation of any subsequent tender documents.
