Queenstown Lakes District Council (QLDC) intends to upgrade their Queenstown Gardens and Marine Parade areas through a multi-stage project. Queenstown Gardens has evolved in an ad hoc manner over the past two hundred years. While the area is central, quiet and sheltered and has developed into a focal point, it comes with its own challenges that QLDC now seeks to resolve. This is to improve connectivity with the Town Centre and surrounds and to enhance circulation within the grounds.
