This Notice of Information (NOI) is to provide project information ahead of the tender which will be advertised separately at the end of February/start of March.
It is provided as an early indication only of the project scope and will not form part of any future tender documents or contract documents.
This project is to complete safety improvements on 7 level crossings across the Waikato with the scope of work ranging from:
• Road signs and markings
• Track surface upgrade in conjunction with KiwiRail
• Upgrades to the pedestrian crossings including veloStrail track surfacing
• Signalling improvements
• Pavement and footpath construction
• Modifications to the median islands/pedestrian crossing points
• Road approach widening
• Widening of the level crossing
This is NOT the commencement of a tender process or a registration of interest (ROI) to tender. Providing this project information in no way holds the Transport Agency to further proceed with a tender process.
A ROI will be issued towards the end of February to register your interest in tendering for the project.
