NZTA is preparing for the procurement of a new Advanced Traffic Management System (ATMS). In order to inform these activities we will be going to market with a Request for Information (RFI) in February 2019. .
This is an advisory communication for the market in order to provide time for those interested in taking part in the RFI to be prepared to respond.
At a high level the new Advanced Traffic Management System (ATMS) needs to deliver; better situational awareness of the transport network with greater operational control of sensors, signs and signals. It will enable safer and more effective customer journeys on our transport network. The solution will be robust and scalable, with the capability to be integrated with future state technology in a cost effective manner.
More information will be provided once the RFI is released.

This project is on hold as at 19 July 2019. A new NOI will be advertised once the project is confirmed as progressing.
