The NZ Transport Agency invites Registrations of Interest (ROI) from contractors experienced in the construction of Transportation Infrastructure Projects.
Now the Kapiti Expressway is operational the 13.5km section of what is currently SH1 from Poplar Avenue to Peka Peka Road will no longer be required for State Highway purposes. Construction Works are required to transform the state highway to the form and function of a local road. The construction working include (but are not limited to) the following:
• Pavement resealing and pavement widening including installation of raised median islands
• New street lighting, landscaping and feature improvements across the entire site
• New traffic services including traffic barriers, signage and line-marking
• Relocation of drainage and utility services
• Otaihanga roundabout amendments and new roundabout at Raumati Rd intersection
• Intersection upgrades at Ihakara Street, Ngaio St and Te Moana Rd
• Traffic management
The Prequalification Work Category and Classification Level for this contract is 4A - Construction.

The NZ Transport Agency invites Suppliers, Contractors and Sub-Contractors wishing to be involved in this contract, to a pre-tender briefing meeting (optional). Details of the meeting are as follows:

ROI involves submitting a single A4 page letter, in response to this advertisement, advising company/consortium and contact details.
Contractors who have registered an ROI by the deadline will be sent more information about the required submissions and shortlisting criteria. Should significant interest be shown, a shortlisting process will be undertaken and only shortlisted tenderers registered through this ROI process will be invited to tender. Otherwise, the tender documents will be released on GETS. The tender documents are anticipated to be made available early March 2018.
ROI submissions are to be uploaded to the GETS eTender box in a single electronic file (pdf format).
