This contract for SH2, Watchman Road intersection improvements, is for the construction of the following (but not limited to):
• A new at grade roundabout at the Watchman Road and SH2 intersection
• Modifications to the Meeanee Quay and Domain road intersection
• Upgrade of Watchman Road causeway which includes road widening
• A new Westshore reserve road connection
• A new link road to the Airport, and intersection improvements the existing Airport intersection
• A new cycleway connection from Meeanee Quay to the Airport
• Associated subgrade and pavement upgrades, drainage, street lighting, landscaping and feature improvements across the entire site
• New traffic services including traffic barriers, signage and line-marking.
• Offsite environmental mitigation measures
• Relocation of utility services.
The Prequalification Work Category and Classification Level for this contract is 4A - Construction.
The NZ Transport Agency invites Suppliers, Contractors and Sub-Contractors wishing to be involved in this contract, to a pre-tender briefing meeting. Details of the meeting are as follows:
