Monitoring and Assessment Moderator – English Language

NZQA is seeking English Language moderators who have the skills, knowledge and expertise to verify that assessment tasks and assessor judgements are valid in relation to the New Zealand Certificates in English Language at Level 4 and above.
Moderators will:
• Evaluate programme documentation, academic materials and learner work
• Ensure that provider assessment and moderation methodology and systems are applied effectively, and that assessor decisions are fair, valid, consistent and appropriate to the programme learning outcomes
• Produce high quality, evidence-based moderation reports.
