NZDF P-3K2 and B757 aircraft currently use commercial satellite communications via INMARSAT Swift 64. INMARSAT will upgrade to Swift Broadband and discontinue the Swift 64 service by 31 December 2020. This RXI is intended to procure the services of a qualified and experienced solution provider, capable of delivering safe and compliant secure voice and data commercial SATCOM upgrades to INMARSAT Swift Broadband for the P-3K2 and B757 aircraft in the RNZAF fleet, ensuring continued delivery of operational outputs with no loss of reputational credibility, by the December 2020 deadline.
