NMH wants to understand the available solutions including but not limited to RFID, for recording information about, identifying and locating equipment, devices and consumables within a hospital.

Scenarios we are considering include being able to:
• record when consumables (bandages, syringes etc.) issued use in order to ensure prompt replacement
• track and/or locate equipment such as beds and IV pumps as they are moved around the hospital.
• record information relevant to equipment and devices
• contribute data/information for a multiyear equipment/device replacement program using “one source of truth”

NMH uses TechnologyOne as our enterprise software. Currently our inventory and asset management uses TechnologyOne. We are considering using the fleet management module in TechnologyOne. Therefore whilst solutions that can work with TechnologyOne would be desirable we are not limited to this option.
