The Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) has released this Request for Proposal (RFP) because it is seeking a panel of suppliers to provide leasing.
MPI is seeking proposals from suppliers with experience and capability in leasing services based on the requirements stated in this RFP.
The purpose of this RFP is to identify suitable suppliers to form a leasing supplier panel. By building relationships with key suppliers MPI seeks to gain access to an expert pool of leasing providers and to be able to respond more quickly to capital purchase decisions.
The proposal is open to Respondents proposing leasing services, either financial leases or operating leases, with a strong preference for operating leases. . It is not expected that every Respondent will be able to provide all services across all 5 Asset Classes, but every Respondent must be capable of providing operating leasing services to most of the products listed in at least two of the first four Asset Classes listed in the RFP. Respondents may also indicate if they can provide leasing services to other Asset Classes to be determined in future. Respondents may also indicate if they can provide finance leases.
