The Ministry is seeking a Service Management solution which can be deployed across the Ministry. Initial deployment will be for the Ministry IT service desk, with future deployments to other business units (e.g. HR, Procurement, and Finance) anticipated.
The desired solution is to be:
- A commercial off the Shelf (COTS) solution that requires configuration not customisation to meet the Ministrys needs.
- A flexible platform that is configurable for multiple business units needs without a high level of vendor engagement.
- Provided 'As A Service', with a scalable cost structure that flexes with increases and decreases in uptake across the Ministry.
