12 month full time assignment contract, New Zealand Government support programme, located in Honiara, Solomon Islands - To start February 2019

The New Zealand Government has partnered with the Government of the Solomon Islands to deliver significant infrastructure and asset management projects in Solomon Islands. The Infrastructure Project Manager will assist the New Zealand Aid Programme to deliver projects in country.

The Objectives of this role are to:
- Provide technical and operational oversight of the New Zealand Aid Programme’s infrastructure activities in Solomon Islands.
- Drive a solution focused approach in managing relationships with partner government agencies, contractors, other donors, and other stakeholders at the operational level.
- Enhance and safeguard New Zealand’s return on investment to infrastructure projects to catalyse economic growth and stability in the region.

This role will appeal if you are interested in being part of a programme that directly contributes to the enhancement of local communities in the Solomon Islands. The initial assignment will be for 12 -months full-time (potential 12 month extension) with an anticipated start in February 2019.
