The project background is:
Currently, BLENNZ and KDEC is housed at Manaia View School but the two services has outgrown the space provided for them. The outcome of this project is to relocate the BLENNZ and KDEC students to Tikipunga High School and redevelop the Block I into a new sensory centre space. The proposed sensory centre space for BLENNZ & KDEC will function as separate office space for both groups.
Provide an innovative learning environment for Northland based BLENNZ and KDEC teams due to outgrowing their current residence at Manaia View School.
Redevelopment option of Block I was proposed and accepted by all parties including BLENNZ and KDEC with the existing school.
