The project involves redeveloping Blocks 4 and 5 into Innovative Learning Environments Botany Downs Primary School. Block 4 works involves constructing a new deck along the front elevation of 2 classrooms, and minor internal changes to open up a wall to allow connection between 2 classrooms. Block 5 work involves converting 4 classrooms to Innovative Learning Environment spaces; developing a new veranda canopy of approximately 150 square metres in front and connected to the classrooms. At this time the objective is to start and complete substantially Block 4 over the 2018/19 summer school holidays; and start Block 5 following the completion of Block 4 with a final completion around 5 July 2019.
