The purpose of the project is the addition of two classrooms, male and female change rooms, a covered outdoor living area and deck space to an existing Wharekura school building. The contract is for a design and construct solution, including obtaining all necessary approvals, consents etc. It is anticipated that the new building will be largely prefabricated off-site. It is intended that the new unit be operational for the start of term 1 in 2019.
