The Ministry of Education are requesting Registrations of Interest from suitably qualified main contractor for construction services of a new 12 classroom block at Manurewa West School.

The Contract Works required will include demolition of existing classroom buildings, earthworks, construction of a new 12 classroom block, landscaping and associated site works.

The scope of the Contract is expected to include:

o Demolition of existing relocatable classrooms and ancillary buildings
o Bulk earthworks
o Construction of a new permanent classroom block (equivalent 12 classroom block)
o Construction of new fire sprinkler system within the new block
o Lift construction
o Site services
o Site works
o Provision of warrantees, guarantees, producer statements, as-built drawings
o Obtaining a Certificate for Public use

Works are expected to commence in early 2018.
