The solution required will include demolition works within the existing Kowhai Special Needs Unit, extension of the facility on the north elevation, construction of a new ramp, internal re-planning, reroofing part of the existing area and all of the extended area, supply and installation of a Guldmann single track rail system, supply and installation of specialist sanitary fixtures, connections into the existing drainage system, replacement of wet and dry floor coverings, provision of new ceilings below the re-roofed area, provision of electrical points, smoke detectors and new lighting below the re-roofed area.
