The Ministry of Education Trustees (the Buyer) is seeking Main Contractor for Construction works for Special Needs Bathroom at Kaikoura Primary School (the School).
The objective of this procurement is to source a main contractor and sub-contractors for the construction works and services required at the school. The background to this procurement is that the Buyer has identified this project based on a Building Improvement Programme for Special Needs (non-ambulant) students at the school presently, and to future-proof the school for other students.
The project works will consist of a number of elements in a stand-alone new build at the school. The works generally consist of (but are not limited to) :
 Construction of new Special Needs Bathroom
 Ramps
 Railings to ramps and decks
 It is intended that this stand-alone building will be built to a standard that will allow it to be relocated at a future date, if required
