The Ministry of Education (the Buyer) is seeking a Main Building Contractor for Roll Growth Development at Selwyn College (the School).
Selwyn College is a Year 9-13 College situated at 245 Kohimarama Road, Kohimarama, Auckland and currently provides 46 teaching spaces. As a result of preceding role decline and subsequent building rationalisation programme, the School is under capacity for teaching spaces. A programme of significant development of the site is proposed. The development will include 14 new, permanent, modern, safe and effective teach spaces as quickly as possible with the minimum of disruption, within the allocated budget.

The scope includes the construction of two separate permanent classroom buildings - the Arts Block and the Language Block. Both structures will be masonry block foundation walls, concrete mid floors, supporting timber frame (NZS3604) first floors, with monopitch roofs. Both structures require services connections over considerable distances within the School site.
