The Board of Trustees of Kamo Intermediate School are seeking Registrations of Interest (ROI) from main contractors to carry out re-roofing projects on two buildings at Kamo Intermediate School.
The site is on Hailes Road, Kamo.
The total area of roofing to be replaced is approx. 250m2. Of this 200m2 is a straight replacement of roofing materials. The second building will see a glass roof over the atrium removed and replaced with new roofing incorporating skydomes. Some electrical work shifting lighting will be required in this project.
In registering interest, contractors are asked to provide the information as per the ROI information sheet attached.
Key parts of this information are;
- Project History, Company details, Management Structure.
- Referees for recently completed projects of similar work.
- Position relative to starting this project in January 2016.
Note:
• Companies who have submitted ROI's with designgroup architects h+k in the last three months should confirm any changes to their previous submission.
• The Board of Trustees of Kamo Intermediate School will scrutinise all Registrations of Interest.
• Subsequently they will invite some or all to make formal tenders for the project.
• Work on site is expected to start in early January 2016 but this could change.
• The Ministry of Education Procurement Processing is one factor that may change the actual start date.
• The project is being administered by designgroup architects h+k, and will be tendered and executed under The NZIA Standard Conditions of Contract SCC: 2011.
