The Ministry is seeking to increase participation in Early Childhood Education (ECE).

The objective of TAP partial funding (TAP 2) grants is to contribute towards establishing new services or expanding existing services, with the intention of creating new licensed or certificated child places in priority areas across New Zealand.

The Ministry of Education is seeking organisations to establish new child places in early childhood education and increase participation of children/tamariki from Māori, Pasifika, and low socio-economic status families/whānau in identified priority areas.
