History to the project to date: A 10 Year Property Plan (10YPP) and 5 Year Agreement (5YA) was completed to identify and plan for maintenance and capital works required to keep the school property at a reasonable standard, and support modern teaching and learning environments. Through this forward maintenance planning, Kaikohe Intermediate School has a prescribed number of remedial and modernisation works to be completed.
The objective of this procurement is to source the supply of a main building contractor to carry out ILE modernisation works at Kaikohe Intermediate School.
The project consists of an existing five classroom block. Four of the classroom will be refurbished and opened up to form a single innovative learning environment, including ablution facilities renovated to create break out space and a new WC configuration, and replacement of the whole roof covering to the building.
This tender has been completed.
