This Request for Information (RFI) offers industry suppliers the opportunity to register their interest in participating in the upcoming procurement of Utility Vehicles under the Protected Mobility Capability Project (PMCP). An Advance Notice of Intended Future Procurement (Advance Notice) is being issued in relation to the Utility Vehicles element of the PMCP contemporaneously with this RFI. The Advance Notice advises industry that, if the procurement proceeds, the Ministry of Defence (the Ministry) intends to enter into an acquisition contract with a prime contractor for relevant variants of Utility Vehicles. This RFI is intended to provide the opportunity for potential secondary suppliers, who lack the capability and/or desire to be the prime contractor but may be able to contribute goods or services to a prime contractor, to self-identify and provide relevant information to the Ministry that can be passed through to any interested tenderer.

Accordingly, this RFI is a tool for obtaining information from potential subcontractors for the Ministry to pass through to interested potential prime contractors, and does not initiate a procurement process.
