The 36th America’s Cup (AC36) will be held in Auckland in 2021. Central and local governments have committed significant financial resources to support hosting the event, particularly for the infrastructure needed to make the event a success. We want to understand what benefits and costs accrue to New Zealand and Auckland as a result of AC36.
