Overview

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A REPUBLISHING OF THE TENDER 20287854

This Request for Quote (RFQ) is issued as a follow up to the original “Call for Registrations of Interest - Oracle Database as a Service” document issued in December 2017 via GETS. If you are in receipt of this RFQ, it is because your organisation was shortlisted from that process.

MBIE uses Oracle technology for some of its business systems (e.g. Companies Office, Licensed Building Practitioners, GETS, IPONZ and Resolve). We currently use Oracle 11g for some databases, and these are on Extended Support from Oracle. MBIE has a wish to migrate to a later version of Oracle, ensuring our use of best-of-breed technology, and ongoing support. We are hopeful of a move to Oracle 18c, as we believe this offers licence cost reduction, automation, and other benefits.
