Two of the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment’s (MBIE) All-of-Government travel contracts are expiring in 2019. The All-of-Government Rental Vehicles contract expires in March 2019, with the Travel Management Services contract expiring in June 2019.
MBIE is currently working on strategic options for replacement solutions and are engaging with agencies and the supply market to inform their approach.
At this stage it is anticipated that an RFP will be released to the market around July 2018 for Rental Vehicles, while the RFP for Travel Management Services will be out around August 2018. Both RFPs will be available on the Government Electronic Tender Service (GETS) at www.gets.govt.nz.
Timings will be updated as the approach to market progresses.
