The New Zealand Screen Production Grant (NZSPG) was introduced in 2014 and seeks to provide economic, industry development and cultural benefits to New Zealand through incentivising and supporting screen industry productions that would otherwise not have been made here. It is made up of two elements, the NZSPG – International and NZSPG – New Zealand.
MBIE and MCH are seeking to appoint a supplier to undertake an economic impact analysis and cultural impact analysis of the grant, three years after its introduction.
