The New Zealand Government is investing in the setup of a new national Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT NZ).
One of CERT NZ's responsibilities is to triage and assess the severity of cyber incident reports. Following triage, CERT NZ will refer individuals and small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) to the appropriate agency or an aggregator(s) who will provide details of service providers that may be able to help to resolve their issues.
CERT NZ is seeking Registrations of Interest from reputable potential partners either with existing aggregation services, or capable of developing a self-sustainable business model providing aggregation services.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of a major New Zealand security initiative that is going to deliver tangible benefits to the New Zealand economy and the lives of ordinary New Zealanders. The market for resolving cyber security issues is expected to see growing demand in the years' to come. Consequently an opportunity exists for an aggregator(s) to connect those in need with service provider who can help them.
