Pāmu has a variety of Human Resources (HR) management tools and platforms to support the organisation and the employee life cycle (from recruitment through to performance management). However there is no centralised system that provides eLearning functionality that can support, monitor or track an individual’s development progress without manual intervention. Training and up-skilling of our workforce has been reliant on face-to-face learning or documentation provided by the on-farm Administration team.
In addition to Pāmu’s permanent workforce, there are many casual employees working on our properties each year. There are a number of health and safety requirements (specifications, guidelines, policies etc.) that our casual employees need to be informed of and adhere to.
By purchasing a Learning Management System (LMS), we are looking to enable Pāmu to meet the capability needs of its workforce and support our requirements and obligations under Health & Safety legislation. These obligations include the ability to plan, resource, deliver, report, and monitor on the levels of capability and readiness of our workforce.
We want to give the supply market the chance to help shape our requirements. This is an opportunity to review what we propose to go to market for and provide guidance around:
Is there something we’ve forgotten?
If we have missed out something that you believe is integral to a successful LMS, we want to know about it and where it might fit into our requirements.
Is there something we don’t know about?
Where new technology or processes exist that we would benefit from incorporating into our requirements, either as an addition or a substitution, we want know so that we can ensure the solution we end up with is future proofed where possible.
Is there anything we don’t need?
If we have anything in our current proposed scope that may unnecessarily lead to increased costs or procedural burden with no foreseeable added benefit, we want you to point it out to us and tell us what we can do to amend this.
