Landcare Research is seeking to appoint the consultant team responsible for the design, planning and management of the Landcare Research Redevelopment project at their Lincoln site. The redevelopment will include demolition of the existing Godley building, construction of a larger new building on the footprint of the Godley complex, including a new enclosed connecting structure that links Godley to the Fleming building. The new facility will largely consist of office and collaboration spaces, and has an approximate construction value of $12 million.
This ROI relates to the shortlisting of design consultant services in relation to the Landcare Research Lincoln Redevelopment project, for each of the following services:
- Civil and infrastructure (incl geotechnical)
- Mechanical & hydraulics
- Electrical & ancillary (incl communications & security)
- Fire engineering
- Resource Consent Planning
- Quantity Surveying
It is expected the consultant services will comprise of Design, construction and completion phases for the project, including:
a. Concept, preliminary, developed and detailed design
b. Construction monitoring
c. Commissioning & closeout.
Landcare Research are looking for credible providers who have the capability, experience and availability to deliver the programme of work for Landcare Research. They need to have a good track record in the implementation of similar programmes of work and proven capability delivering projects of this type.
Providers must meet pre-conditions and respond to the evaluation criteria outlined under Section 3, unless any such requirements are waived by Landcare Research, which it may do at its absolute discretion.
