Overview

The Kaikōura District Council’s (“the Council”) infrastructure assets have sustained significant damage as a result of the earthquake. Five existing bridges were all damaged significantly and now need to be replaced with five new single span road bridges.

The bridges are named in the below bullet points:
• BR 21 - Evans Bridge (Mt Fyffe Road)
• BR 29 - Hawthorne Road Bridge
• BR 28 - Gillings Lane Bridge
• BR 30 - Rorrisons Road Bridge
• BR 32 - Scotts Bridge

The scope of this RFP for the each of the five bridges is provided in the below bullet points:
