This agreement relates to the purchase of professional services from experienced resource management
practitioners to assist in carrying out Council’s functions under the Resource Management Act of 1991 with a
specific focus on processing applications for resource consents and assessing notices of requirements.
The key objective is to ensure that Council has access to sufficient RMA planning expertise and capacity so that
statutory timeframes are met, and fair and legally robust processes are run.
