Project
The Principal owns 24 sites on Banks Street and Discovery Place. The original structures on
the site have been or are in the process of being demolished. The Principal now intends to
redevelop the sites to provide a number of affordable homes ("Project").
The civil works are to be carried out at the addresses in section 3 (Key Features) of this Part A.

Procurement Process
Selection of a Contractor will be undertaken in two phases. This Request for ROI is the first stage and will result in the selection of a shortlist of prospective contractors ("Shortlisted Respondents") to undertake the Contract Works. The Principal will issue a Request for Proposal for the Contract Works to the Shortlisted Respondents ("RFP"), each of whom will be invited to respond. In addition, the Shortlisted Respondents may also be invited to respond to Requests for Proposal for future projects to be undertaken by the Principal in the New Plymouth/Taranaki region.

This Request for ROI is seeking a civil works contractor that:
a) can demonstrate their commitment to sound health and safety practices;
b) can demonstrate their previous experience in undertaking works that are similar to
the Contract Works;
c) can demonstrate their capability, in terms of resources and plant, to operate in the
New Plymouth, Taranaki area; and
d) confirms they have capacity to undertake the Contract Works in the Indicative
Timeline in Section 3 of Part A of this Request for ROI.
