The East Coast Aquifer Exploration Project is aimed to gather information and to extend our current understanding of the quality and quantity of the aquifers in the Uawa-Hikuwai Catchment. The undertaking of the project will enable the characterisation of the aquifer system through pump test analysis, water quality sampling, and logging the lithology of subsurface conditions of the Uawa-Hikuwai Catchment.

Gisborne District Council (“GDC”) seeks to procure the services of an experienced drilling company to undertake exploratory drilling in the Uawa-Hikuwai catchment (Tolaga Bay, East Coast).
