Information Sharing for Business is a project that aims to make government services better by joining up services that span multiple government organisations, including local bodies, providing business users with a single view of government services.
We have chosen the hospitality industry for the prototype because of the range of compliance activities that businesses in this industry need to manage with multiple local bodies and government agencies. We will focus on a subset of hospitality industry activities — enabling business customers to complete actions such as:
a) Renew a food licence in response to a notification
b) Make an initial application to sell alcohol
c) Request a pavement permission
d) Delegate such activities to a third party where the service provider allows
e) Manage their profile
The project is seeking to appoint a capable supplier to deliver a working prototype.
It is very important that we work with suppliers who can demonstrate a track record that gives us confidence in their ability to deliver the prototype in a tight timeframe and who already know how to configure relevant tools and solutions. We are interested in suppliers with skilled people who are experienced in business processes and the technologies that can deliver to our requirements.
