The purpose of this Notice is to provide advance notification to the market of the Department of Corrections’ intention to release a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the supply of Wood Pellets to Department. The RFP is intended to be released via the Government Electronic Tenders Service (GETS) in mid to late August 2019.

The RFP will seek the supply of Wood Pellets to Tongariro Prison to ensure continued supply of fuel for our boilers which are used to heat and provide hot water to our prison.

Note: No information from potential respondents is requested nor required from this advance notice. Suppliers who are interested in being part of the proposed RFP process should ensure that they are registered to receive GETS notifications for the applicable RFx Categories.
