This Notice gives advance notification to the market that the Department of Corrections (the Department) will release a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the supply of a wrap around support service targeted at young men aged between 18 and 25 who have committed a burglary offence.

The service will run alongside the WHARE burglary prevention treatment programme and will be delivered in prison and the community.
Specific areas for delivery are:
• Bay of Plenty (Community)
• Wellington (Rimutaka Prison and/or Community)

The Department will also be running sessions in the Bay of Plenty and Wellington Regions to provide information on the new Burglary Prevention Support Services (BPSS) in advance of the release of the RFP.

The information sessions will provide more detail on the content and structure of the BPSS, this will include; service specifications, service design, the target group, funding model and key deliverables. It will allow external suppliers to ask questions on the BPSS and the procurement approach.
