This Notice is to provide advance notification to the market that the Department of Corrections intends to release a Request for Proposals to supply general farm supplies.

The department is seeking general farm supplies for the department’s five prisoner rehabilitation farms at Springhill, Waikeria, Tongariro, Canterbury Men’s and the Otago Corrections Facility. General farm supplies includes agricultural products, seed, grain and feedstuffs and livestock plus related advice. It does not include the provision of fuel, fertiliser, agricultural contracting services, vet services, transport services or equipment maintenance and engineering services.

The Request for Proposals is intended to be released via the Government Electronic Tenders Service (GETS) in mid-November 2018.

Note: No information from potential respondents is requested or required from this advance notice. Suppliers who are interested in being part of the proposed request for proposals process should ensure that they are registered to receive GETS notifications for the applicable RFx Categories.
