Responses are called by the Chief Executive of the Department of Corrections (the Department), under this Registration of Interest (ROI), for a main contractor for the delivery of the Community Corrections Sites (CCS) Huntly Upgrade Project.
The upgrade of the CCS Huntly involves the internal refit and extension of the existing CCS building. The aim of the upgrade is to create a more open and welcoming environment which will incorporate space for training, programme delivery, community work facilities, agency hot-desks and whanau rooms.
The Department requires a main contractor to provide construction services to deliver the project.
It is the intention of this ROI is to:
 Capture information required to enable the Landlord and the Department to evaluate responder’s suitability as potential suppliers.
 Establish if responders have the capability and capacity to deliver the services.
 Create a shortlist of potential suppliers (based on suitability, capability and capacity) who would be invited to participate in a closed request for tender (RFT).
 Provide information for the development of the next stage of the procurement process.
 A shortlist of up to five respondents will be invited to respond to a RFT.
