RoI for Building Services engineering for a new Rehabilitation and Wellness Centre at the Manukau Health Park. The Living Well Centre is a rehabilitation facility for spinal, stroke, amputee and other patients. It also supports community well-being for the wider Manukau Locality. This exciting complex, the first of its type in New Zealand, will be a significant project in line with a long held desire for a Health Park at the Manukau site. The project has yet to obtain Ministry of Health approval and is at an early concept stage. Option 3 (in essence stage 3 of a 4 stage development), should it be approved, is a 14,000m2 $140m development comprising 60 beds (30 Spinal) and a Wellness Centre for the Manukau Locality.
It is anticipated the initial commission will be for a comprehensive Concept Design to support the Detailed Business Case to be lodged in July 2017. Concept Design is expected to commence in February 2017.
