Overview

Further to the Registration of Interest issued to GETS in September 2017, the CDHB have decided to accept further submissions from perspective installers as noted in Section 2.3 of the original R.O.I documentation, previous unsuccessful applicants may resubmit 3 months after an unsuccessful notice has been received.

The CDHB and WCDHB are looking for credible suppliers who have the capability, experience and infrastructure to install passive fire protection within live health facilities to be part of our accredited contractor panel. They need to have a good track record in the management and quality assurance, sound supplier network and active training and testing processes.

The appointed contractors to the panel will be the only contractors authorised to complete any passive fire protection, this may range from protecting a single cable passing through a fire wall to be the nominated passive fire installer for a major project.

The panel and accreditation test regime has been established in order to improve the quality of workmanship, stop non-compliant installations, and reduce the impact and delays on project time lines and costs.
