Overview

The Ministry of Health (MOH), Canterbury District Health Board (CDHB) and West Coast District Health Board (WCDHB) are working towards major long term investments in three new hospital facilities- two in Christchurch and one in the West Coast.
The DHBs need to procure various furniture, fittings and equipment items, of which this Request for Proposal (RFP) forms part. The majority of furniture is for the ASB project (75%) with lesser volumes required for Outpatients (15%) and Grey Base (10%).
You are invited to submit a response to this RFP for the supply of furniture required in the three project sites, which will require that the preferred supplier(s) provide design services (as required) for various sites. It is intended that the resulting contract will be a combination of orders for the final, as agreed furniture for each of the three project sites, plus a standing offer arrangement for a total period of seven years (24 months + 24 months + 24 months + 12 months) to meet any future business as usual furniture needs for The DHBs. Depending on supplier capability and the outcome of the evaluation process, The DHBs may award a contract to one or more suppliers.
