Christchurch City Council is moving to a new streamlined purchasing process, and we need to let you know about a change to how we do business.

As part of the new purchasing process, we’ll be sending automated purchase orders – starting from 5th December 2022. It’ll ensure that goods receipting is improved, payments are expedited, and give better visibility!

Invoices without a valid purchase order will not be processed for payment, and no works, services, or supply of goods should proceed without one. Purchase orders will always reflect the true value of the order – no more nominal POs.
