Overview

The Christchurch City Council and the Crown are leading the procurement of the CMUA as part of the Christchurch Central Recovery Plan, Te Mahere `Maraka Ōtautahi’ (CCRP).

To support the development of our delivery strategy, we will be conducting an initial market engagement with interested contractors, facilities maintenance providers, operators, and sponsors.

The purpose of this engagement is to provide information on the indicative concept and budget for the CMUA and other project details, and provide information (via the Treasury’s newly established Infrastructure Transactions Unit) on the current Canterbury market and NZ infrastructure project pipeline. There will be an opportunity to ask questions, and provide feedback on possible procurement and delivery approaches.

The presentation will be led by Christchurch City Council, with support from the Treasury and EY and is scheduled to take place on Monday 20 May 2019 in Christchurch.
