Christchurch City Council (the Council) is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI’s) from suitably qualified contractors (Respondents) who are interested in delivering the following to the Council:

Council has identified required improvements of machine guarding at its Wastewater, Water Supply and Storm Water pumping stations across the city. The Council is looking for a Machine Guarding Contractor who can survey, design, manufacture and install pump, motor and generator machine guards, in line with the current Worksafe NZ Choose the right guard flow chart, flowchart 7; and a fixed platform to a pump station, and handrail to a number of above ground structures to prevent falls from height.

The purpose of this EOI is to prequalify and shortlist suitable Respondents. The EOI process involves a quality attribute evaluation methodology. EOI submissions should clearly demonstrate the Respondent's proven abilities in relation to the key aspects of the Contract Works. It is anticipated that shortlisted Respondents will then be asked to provide commercial proposals under an RFP/RFT process.
