Supplying potable water is a core Council function and associated with statutory requirements and customer expectations regarding water quantity and continuity of supply. The Department of Internal Affairs has released a mandatory Level of Service for all water suppliers to achieve a percentage of real water loss from the local authority's networked reticulation system of no more than 15%.

The purpose of this RFP is to invite Prospective Suppliers to submit their Proposals for Water Supply Network Leakage Reduction services.
