Christchurch City Council (the Council) is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from suitably qualified suppliers who are interested in making an offer for the supply of construction services. The broad scope requirement comprises effective reinstatement of the building undertaking the following works, at the Wharenui Recreation Centre which is located at 73 Elizabeth Street, Christchurch:

• Structural strengthening (steelwork and external structures)
• Replacement of damaged M&E systems,
• Asbestos removal,
• Roof guttering replacement and repair,
• Associated building refit works, lining and finishing trades,
• Modernisation of internal layout and function.
• General access and External envelope improvements,
• General updating of current facility to building code,
• Building opening July 2016.
