It is AT’s intention to release an RFT to market at the end of July, or early August 2017.
The RFT will be advertised on the Auckland Transport E-Tendering Portal: Government Electronic Tender Service (GETS): www.gets.govt.nz.
Auckland Transport (AT) is intending to construct a 2.9km long shared path from New Lynn to Avondale between the New Lynn Station and Blockhouse Bay Road.

Note: The following tender preconditions will apply:

Main Contractors must be prequalified at time of tender submission for AT’s Construction Category AT1A and AT3B – Major Road Works and Structures. Contact: prequal@at.govt.nz for any questions regarding the prequalification process.
Main Contractors must also be prequalified for KiwiRail’s Construction Categories Civil 1 and Structures 1. See the KiwiRail website regarding Contractor Prequalification: http://www.kiwirail.co.nz/infrastructure.
Main Contractors must be registered (if not already) with ISNetworld, AT's Health & Safety prequalification system, prior to a contract being awarded (see: http://www.ISNetworld.com) and, have passed a H&S prequalification assessment that meets AT's requirements.
Ability to obtain a surety with a bank registered in New Zealand or an insurance company with a credit rating of no less than A- registered with the Reserve Bank of New Zealand, for 10% of the contract value. Refer to: http://www.rbnz.govt.nz/regulation-and-supervision/insurers/rating.
Quality control systems which are independently certified ISO9001 compliant.
Current Health & Safety ACC tertiary accreditation.
