Description of the Works

This contract is to construct a 3.0m wide concrete shared pedestrian / cycle path in Orewa Reserve between the carpark opposite Weiti Road and the Orewa Estuary bridge.

The new shared path will replace the existing concrete / cobbled path which is to be removed and the reserve area reinstated as part of the contract works.

The design drawings in Section E provide more detail on the exact nature of the works.

In accordance with Auckland Transport’s prequalification procedures this contract has been classified as Major Road Works, Level AT1C. Only those contractors prequalified to or above this level are eligible to submit a tender for this contract.
