Auckland Council is seeking potential suppliers to provide an Integrated Waste Collection Service as part of meeting the objectives of the recently adopted Auckland Council Waste Management Minimisation Plan 2018.
This Notice of Information has two purposes:
1. To provide interested suppliers with background information about the services required; and
2. To detail how interested suppliers can participate in the Auckland Integrated Waste Collection Service Request for Proposal process.
The aim of Auckland Council in this process is to obtain sufficiently detailed information from potential suppliers about their respective organisations and their ability to provide sustainable services (having regard to several factors including the quality of the services, the supplier’s ability to deliver on a timely basis, and price), to enable Auckland Council to select and appoint a party (or parties) to provide the services.
We would also like to request background information from potential suppliers about their capacity and capability to successfully deliver the requirements of the contract.
We also welcome clarifications on this procurement. Please note that the questions and all responses will be shared with all parties that submitted an interest in this tender.
Suppliers are advised this procurement only includes collections.
